Chelsea defender Paulo Ferreira is on standby for Saturday's FA Cup final as Branislav Ivanovic will face a late fitness test ahead of the Wembley clash against Portsmouth.

Ivanovic, who was named in the PFA Team of the Year, has been struggling with a knee injury and Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti may need to replace the right-back.

Meanwhile, there was better news for Chelsea captain John Terry, who feared he had broken his foot in training on Wednesday but declared himself "100% fit" for the match.

"I'm fine and looking forward to the game," Terry said.

Blues midfielder John Obi Mikel has undergone minor surgery on a knee injury and is out for the remainder of the season, while long-term absentees Michael Essien, Jose Bosingwa and Ricardo Carvalho remain sidelined.

For Portsmouth, Jamie O'Hara remains a major doubt because of a stress fracture in his back. The on-loan midfielder, who was ineligible for the semi-final victory over parent club Tottenham, hopes a pain-killing injection will allow him to play.

Centre-half Tal Ben-Haim has recovered from a groin problem, hamstrung duo Nadir Belhadj and Richard Hughes should also be available, but Aruna Dindane, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Marc Wilson and Hassan Yebda are all concerns for Pompey.
